The Legacy group will be traveling to Catawba, VA to view the fall foliage. Please make sure you have signed up with Glenna Rakes for a spot on the bus. We will eat lunch at the Home Place Restaurant in Catawba, VA and visit the Ideal Cabinet Shop. Everyone is welcome!
Volunteers are asked to decorate their car trunk with a game and have candy so we can provide a safe place for the Brownsboro children during Halloween. Please meet at the church at 5pm to travel to Brownsboro. Volunteers will also help in serving a meal to our Brownsboro friends.
The MAN Event exists to empower and motivate men to live out God's view of manhood and be the best husbands, fathers, and leaders God has called them to be. You will NOT want to miss out on this conference as we train you in "winning the fights of your life."
WSF families are encouraged to bring a single-size blanket to the West Foyer any Sunday the month of November. These blankets will be collected by the Cover the City Project to be distributed to the under-resourced and homeless of our community. WS Rescue Mission, Next Step Ministries, City with Dwellings, and the Winston-Salem Police Department will give the blankets out to those in need. We will collect every Sunday in November.
Everyone is invited to get involved in our annual Thanksgiving Outreach by going by East Foyer and picking up a Thanksgiving box to deliver to a family. You will get the specific instructions you need for delivery in the East Foyer.
Volunteer Packing – November 17th
Join us at the Thanksgiving Outreach packing party Saturday, November 17 from 10am-12pm in the Prayer Room. We will prepare 250 Thanksgiving boxes for Sunday delivery!
WSF volunteers are encouraged to help with the Angel Tree Christmas Party. We will meet at the church at 8:30am and get everything set up for our party at 10am and then finish right at noon. Love Out Loud exists to bring the Winston-Salem community together to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the city. Come celebrate the Christmas season with LOL on Thursday, December 20 from 4-9pm for a huge Christmas Party downtown at the Benton Convention Center. There will be music, fun activities for the kids, and so much more. And, most importantly, join us in loving God and loving people.
Come and spend a night getting to know us a little better. We will teach you our core beliefs, tell you more about who we are as a church and help you find a place to use your gifts to serve. We would love for you to become a WSF partner! Childcare is available for those who register by the Wednesday prior.

This is a special time for families to gather as parents dedicate their child to the Lord. One of our pastors will pray over your child and present you with a certificate of dedication and a special gift for the baby. We are honored to be hosting Mandisa's Girl Night Live here at WSF on Sunday, October 7. This is an extraordinary evening aimed at strengthening female community. Envisioned to be a night of women encouraging women about matters that affect women, "Girls Night Live Tour" will include music, humor, worship, and prayer. Noted for her vulnerability, the night will end with Mandisa and her friends joining the audience for a personal, encouraging "Girl Chat" and time of ministry.
The Legacy Group will be headed to Kernersville for "A NIght of Talent" sponsored by The Shepherd's Center. The event will be at Main Street United Methodist Church on Main Street-Kernersville. Buses will leave the church at 5PM. Dinner will be at the Olympia Greek Restaurant in Kernersville before the show.
Parents! Enjoy a night out to be refreshed while your children (5 years - 5th Grade) are enriched through creative arts. We will offer different creative outlets that your child can sign up for upon registration. From singing or dancing to photography, art, cake decorating, woodworking, and more, we will have something for your child to be a part of each month. We will end the night with a movie and popcorn. Childcare will be available for children 4 years and under. Cost: $5 per child. Registration will close at midnight of the Wednesday prior to the event.

Recreational Miniature Golf League for couples/doubles begins 2nd week of September and continues for 7 weeks. Cost is approximately $7 per person, per week. Join us for rafting on the Nantahala River on Saturday, July 21st! Cost: $35 per person. Departing WSFirst at 7:30 am. Returning approximately 8 pm. Chick-fil-a box meals can be purchased for $6 (or you can bring your own lunch). MInimum age to participate is 15 years.
The Burn is a movement of burning hearts all across the globe returning back to their first love and then taking that love to nations. Our core is communities unifying around the Presence of God for "burns" consisting of nonstop of worship and prayer at least once per month at different churches.

Each year, we host a Super Bowl Party, and each year it is better than the last! Hang out with us for the evening and bring your favorite 2-liter drink and an optional dessert. As always, we will have a hot chili cook-off! So if you've got a killer chili recipe, this is your opportunity to showcase it! Contestants, arrive at 6 pm to enter. results will be announced at half time. There will be plenty of activities for kids (bounce house and games)!
We appreciate all of our WSF volunteers, so we are launching a space specific for you and your children! We know that Sundays can be long and hard on kids who stay for two services while their parents volunteer, so we have created the WSF Kids Clubhouse! This will be a place solely for kids from Kindergarten through 5th grade who are attending both services while their parents are volunteering somewhere on the campus. We will have fun fames, a bouncy house, arts/crafts, video games, snacks, etc.

Mark your calendars! Elwood & Glenna's Christmas Party will be on Sunday, December 17. This is a church-wide event so bring all your friends and family to this fun-packed night! We will begin at 6pm in the Central Foyer.

The Brownsboro Christmas Party & Gift Mart provides the Brownsboro community with an opportunity to purchase gifts for their children at a very affordable price. Please donate your "gently used" toys by dropping off in the West Foyer on December 3rd and 10th. We will serve chili and hot chocolate and project a movie for the children while the parents shop.
