We seek to brighten our city by reflecting the light and love of Jesus through collaborative efforts of ministry. Here at WSF, we place a value on strategic partnerships with other churches and organizations who are already being the hands and feet of Jesus in the city. Check out some of the awesome partnerships we have in the city! Check out our events page for more outreach opportunities!
WSF helps with and supports the Overflow Shelter that functions out of First Presbyterian in the heart of our city. We serve a meal one night a week and provide bus transportation one morning a week during January-March 2019. Click the button below to sign up online!
Cover the City Project
This ministry collects blankets to give to the Police Department and non-profits in Winston-Salem that support members of our community who are homeless. October 1-31 To get involved, drop off a blanket in the West Foyer.
City Light Christmas
WSF partners with the City Lights Ministry to support and help the under-resourced children of our city. This year we will be buying Christmas gifts for some of the children who work with Melanie Bell through the weekly City Lights ministry.
City Lights Ministries
City Lights Ministry is committed to providing hope for children, their families & homeless living in adverse conditions of the inner city. CLM believes that, together, we can build foundations that lead to hope, a future and better lives for those in need around our city.
We will be providing 250 Thanksgiving meals to families in our community that are under-resourced. Each meal costs $35. Any amount helps! To find out more information or to volunteer for our meal packing, click the button below.
CFTC Gift Mart
Christmas for the City Gift Mart is a Love Out Loud sponsored event that serves the communities of our city. It provides an opportunity for parents to purchase new and like new holiday toys for their children (including ages tween and teens) at greatly reduced prices.
Love Out Loud
Love Out Loud connects the many great efforts across our city, convenes groups of like-minded leaders around shared causes, and accelerates innovative ideas born out of collaboration and complex thinking, built on relational capital, and grounded in spiritual transformation.
This ministry is in partnership with the Prison Fellowship, which serves incarcerated parents by providing a way to restore relationships with their children and families. Purchase a gift or volunteer for the Angel Tree party!
Christmas for the City
Every year Love Out Loud throws a huge Christmas Party for the city. We encourage you to go or volunteer to be the hands and feet of Jesus. The party is on December 19 from 4-9pm in the Benton Convention Center. To volunteer for the event, click on the button below.
