Angel Tree is a program of PrisonFellowship® that serves incarcerated parents by providing a pathway for strengthening and restoring their relationships with their children and families.
Angel Tree allows WSFirst an opportunity to share Christ's love with the families of prisoners. Angel Tree Christmas connects parents in prison with their children through the delivery of Christmas gifts given on the parent’s behalf.
WSFirst Volunteers provide a Christmas party where presents are given to the children with a loving message from the incarcerated parent, and WSFirst also gets a chance to share the greatest gift of all—the Good News of Jesus Christ.
How to get involved:
Volunteers - We are currently looking for volunteers to be a part of the party on the 9th! WSF will host the Angel Tree Party to distribute the gifts that have been purchased by WSF members to the children selected by Prison Fellowship. The party will start at 10am in our FMC Dining Room. We need volunteers to help gather gifts, decorate tables, distribute food, and care for the families who attend. Volunteers will need to be on campus at 8:30am and plan to stay until all the clean up is completed around 12:30. If you are interested in being a part of this annual serving opportunity. Email: email@example.com
Give a gift - On Sunday, November 12 we will have a Christmas Tree set up in the West Foyer for you to be able to go in, pick up a tag, and get a gift for one of the children. Gifts need to be wrapped and returned to the church with the angel by Sunday, December 3. The Angel Tree Party will be December 9.
Thanksgiving Distribution - WSF will deliver 250 Thanksgiving meals to families of need. WSF families will go to the East Foyer to pick up boxes for delivery after the first and second service. WSF families can help with the purchase of the meal by texting "Thanksgiving" to 336-793-0397. Any amount will help with the effort.
Build a Box - WSF Volunteers will gather on Saturday, November 18th from 10am-1pm to place the groceries in the boxes and prepare the East Foyer for the Sunday Launch to deliver the food. If you would like to bring your family and work together to help prepare the Thanksgiving meal, sign up below.

We believe that women, especially when united, are a powerful force with great impact in our world. When we lay aside our differences and focus on the things that unite us, anything with God is possible.
Our She. Conference provides women an opportunity to participate in an environment that exposes them to the goodness of God, invites them to join in His kingdom work, and saturates them in an empowering culture that celebrates women …all the while having a lot of fun along the way!
At the She. Conference 2017, you can expect to hear from gifted communicators who are anointed with a message for you, engage in powerful worship, be refreshed, and of course, build new friendships!
